OK, I just moved to an environment where it will be a great advantage to
load/export 3ds and DXF files, but our test have shown there could be some
problems.

    So far, nothing more complicated than a simple box or platonic solid has
imported correctly.

    So, what are some of the common problem associated with importing 3ds
and DXF files?  Are there certain practices the 3DS operators should follow when
saving their "meshes"?
